Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet of the Kingdom of Cambodia concludes his two-day Official Visit to the Philippines, reinforcing diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations, as he departs from Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on February 11, 2025.

During his visit, Prime Minister Hun Manet honored the national hero of the Philippines with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Rizal Monument in Manila. He also received arrival honors and signed the guest book, marking his official engagement with the Philippine Government.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister where they discussed strengthening cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment and regional security.

The visit also saw the presentation of signed agreements and a joint leaders’ statement, underscoring both countries’ commitment to enhancing cooperation.

To cap the official engagements, President Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos hosted an official luncheon in honor of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and First Lady Pich Chanmony.

The visit reaffirmed the deepening partnership between the Philippines and Cambodia, highlighting shared goals for regional peace, stability and economic growth.
