“Ako’y nandito para tiyakin, makasiguro, na maayos naman ang aming tuluyang programa para pagtulong sa ating mga kababayan na nangangailangan,” President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. conveyed as he extended various government assistance during his visit to Davao City.

Spreading a message of hope to his countrymen, the President imparted in his brief remarks that the national and local government always give utmost priority to the needs of communities.

Among the assistance the Chief Executive handed over were checks to beneficiary-barangays under the TUPAD Emergency Employment Program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); food packs and monetary aid to beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); checks to recipients of the Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE) Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA); and livelihood kits such as bangus (milkfish) deboning tools with entrepreneurial and skills training to beneficiaries under the Negosyo sa Barangay Livelihood Seeding Program of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
