President Benigno S. Aquino III received Thura U Shwe Mann, House Speaker of the Union of the Republic of Myanmar, in a courtesy call at Malacañan Palace.

Present during the call were the country’s House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. and the rest of the Myanmar delegation composed of the Ambassador of Myanmar to the Philippines Ye Myint Aung, and Committee on National Races Affairs and Internal Peace Implementation Committee Chairman U Thein Zaw.
