President Benigno S. Aquino III received Malaysia’s Defense Minister Dato Seri Hishammuddin in a courtesy call at Malacañan Palace. The minister is in the Philippines for a two-day official visit.

Present during the call are Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin and National Security Council Secretary Cesar Garcia, Jr.

The Malaysian side was represented by Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines Dato Mohd Zamri, Deputy Secretary of the Defense Minister Mam Suriani Ginti, Director General of the Defense Intelligence Lt. Gen. Datuk Abdul Hadi, and Lt. Gen. Dato Sri Zulkipie, Army Field Commander of the Malaysian Army.
