President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received the Minister of National Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. General Ngo Xuan Lich, in a courtesy call at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace.

A number of high-ranking officials from the two Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Member Countries joined the President and General Ngo Xuan Lich in the meeting, including Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, and Viet Nam Ambassador-Designate to the Philippines, H.E. Ly Quoc Tuan.
