President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received the Commander of the United States (US) Pacific Command (PACOM), Admiral Harry Harris, Jr., in a courtesy call at Malacañan Palace.

The US Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Sung Kim, with Defense Attaché of the US Embassy Colonel Ernest Lee, and Major General Jeffrey Kruse of the US PACOM accompanied Admiral Harris during the courtesy call.

Present for the Philippine side were Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano, Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, National Security Adviser and National Security Council (NSC) Director-General Hermogenes Esperon, Jr., and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año.
