President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. addressed the World Economic Forum (WEF) during the Country Strategy Dialogue on the Philippines in Davos, Switzerland.
Under his new leadership, the Philippines is set to put further emphasis on energy and food security, digitalization of the economy and upskilling to add resilience and growth momentum to the economy. All of these priorities require strong public-private collaboration, which the dialogue seeks to facilitate with global business leaders.
President Marcos Jr.’s inaugural participation to the WEF is an opportune time to stage the Philippines’ significant economic gains as well as promote the country as a leader and driver of growth. Apart from his Cabinet members, the President’s business delegation is comprised of seven of the Philippines’ top chief executive officers (CEOs), all of whom are aiming to bring more investments to the country.
