President Rodrigo Roa Duterte conferred the Order of Lakandula to Dr. Henry Bon Liong, President of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), in a simple ceremony at the Study Room of Malacañan Palace.

Created by virtue of Executive Order No. 236, s. 2003, the Order of Lakandula is meant to acknowledge civil and political merits. It is conferred by the President of the Philippines to Filipinos or foreign nationals who have demonstrated dedication for the welfare of the society.
