President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the Commencement Exercises of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) ‘MASALIGAN’ Class of 2021 via virtual convention in Davao City.

‘MASALIGAN’, which stands for ‘Mandirigmang Samahan na Lakas at Sandigan ng Bayan’, is composed of 138 males and 26 females, for a total of 164 graduating cadets.

Upon commissioning, these new officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) shall be joining their chosen branch of service — 82 in the Philippine Army (PA), 46 in the Philippine Navy (PN) and 36 in the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
