During President Benigno S. Aquino III’s meeting with the officials of Calidad Pascual, the latter expressed their plans of putting up a manufacturing facility in the Philippines by 2016 if it reaches the three million-kilogram target selling of pasteurized yogurt in the country by 2015.

The intended facility will bring about a preliminary amount of US$8 million in investment. Due to its closeness to other member-nations of the ASEAN, the Philippines is considered a strategic market for the Calidad Pascual which has a total sales of US$3.7 million in 2013.

Those who were met by President Aquino include Calidad Pascual’s President Tomas Pascual Gomez-Cuetara, its General Manager for International Division Tomas Melendez, its Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Controller Michael de Jose Belzunce and Michael Tan.
