For the second week of May, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joined millions of registered Filipino voters in electing the nation’s leaders in the midterm elections which showcased the vibrancy of Philippine democracy. He reaffirmed the country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation with several nations as he received the credentials of five (5) new ambassadors.
As Commander-in-Chief, he led the graduation rites of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), the nation’s premier military institution that boasts a ‘long and illustrious history of preparing only the best Filipino men and women for military service.’
“Public service goes beyond elections. The work of nation-building needs all who are ready to serve,” stated the Chief Executive as he continues the Administration’s vision of a Bagong Pilipinas that seeks to uplift and bring prosperity to the lives of every Filipino.
