Bolstering the agriculture and fisheries sectors which remain crucial sources of income, employment and food security for the nation, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. started the month of July by providing the necessary machinery to enhance productivity and increase the incomes of farmers, fisherfolk and key stakeholders.

At the same time, the goal of selling rice at PhP20/kilo to the public nationwide is within reach as he expanded the Benteng Bigas Meron na program to more communities through the Kadiwa ng Pangulo outlets.

With targets and goals set firmly in place, the Marcos Administration remains focused on ensuring that the country’s food security, territorial integrity and sovereignty, foreign relations, and economic growth and development would be felt by every Filipino under a ‘Bagong Pilipinas.’
