President Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivered his intervention as he joined his fellow Heads of State/Government in a Special Session at the 36th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit on Women’s Empowerment in the Digital Age.

This year’s Special Session underscored the ASEAN Leaders and Dialogue Partners’ affirmation in the promotion of gender equality and the importance of women’s participation in the progress of the ASEAN Community, as well as the socio-economic growth of the regional bloc in this digital age.
