President Benigno S. Aquino III attended the ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting with representatives of the ASEAN Youth at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Malaysia.

In their meeting, the ASEAN leaders acknowledged the importance of the youth in building the ASEAN community. As such, strategies are being developed to further expand their role in shaping the present and future direction of the ASEAN region.
