O’Hare International Airport

President Benigno S. Aquino III arrived at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport at 1:14 pm on 6 May 2015 (Chicago time) to officially begin his Working Visit to the United States of America.

He was met at the airport by Philippine Ambassador to the U.S.A. Jose Cuisia, Jr. and the Philippine Consulate in Chicago officials led by Consul General Generoso D.G. Calonge, his wife Atty. Gloria Calonge and Deputy Consul General Romulo Victor Israel, Jr.

Among the Cabinet members comprising the Philippine delegation include Finance (DOF) Secretary Cesar Purisima, Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz, Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Gregory Domingo, Secretary to the Cabinet Jose Rene Almendras, Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Herminio Coloma, Jr. and Presidential Management Staff (PMS) Secretary Julia Andrea Abad.

From the airport, President Aquino proceeded to J.W. Marriott Hotel where he will officially stay during his visit.
