President and Commander-in-Chief Rodrigo Roa Duterte was accorded with a 21-gun salute for his arrival honors at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) where he led the commencement exercises of the PMA ‘Alab Tala’ (Alagad ng Lahing Binigkis ng Tapang at Lakas) Class of 2018 in Fort General Gregorio Del Pilar, Baguio City.

The President was received by PMA Superintendent Lieutenant General Donato San Juan II in full military honors. After the arrival ceremony, the Commander-in-Chief proceeded to Longayban Hall for his private time before heading to the Fajardo Grandstand to initiate the commencement exercises of the PMA ‘Alab Tala’ Class of 2018.

He was joined in the arrival honors by Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Rey Leonardo Guerrero, Philippine Air Force (PAF) Commanding General Lt. Gen. Galileo Gerard Kintanar, Jr., Philippine Army (PA) Commanding General Lt. Gen. Rolando Joselito Bautista, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Dir. Gen. Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa, and other military officers.
