Urging thousands of Filipinos to actively take part in building a stronger, smarter and more resilient Philippines, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. successfully led the ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas’ rally in the capital of Quezon Province, Lucena City.
Highlighting the recent celebration of Labor Day in his remarks, the President recognized the Filipino workforce whom he described as the nation’s greatest investment. He praised their excellence and diligence, crediting them for the country’s economic rise.
He proudly announced that the Philippines recorded its lowest unemployment rate since 2005, a milestone that reflects the growing dignity and hope among working Filipinos.
Moreover, the Chief Executive shared that the country is now considered one of the fastest-growing economies in Asia. He attributed this economic success to the everyday lives of Filipinos, noting that government-led infrastructure, irrigation and agricultural projects are already impacting communities positively.
He reiterated that the government remains committed to addressing long-standing issues such as transportation, unemployment and poverty.
He also recalled a diplomatic success, citing the return of Mary Jane Veloso from Indonesia. He stressed that such accomplishments are not the result of individual efforts alone but of unity and strategic collaboration, especially with the support of experienced lawmakers.
As the midterm polls approach, the President called on his countrymen to vote for candidates who are not only competent but also possess clean records and genuine concern for the people. He emphasized that the Administration’s senatorial aspirants are veterans in public service who know how to craft effective laws and run offices with integrity.
