Recognizing the critical role of the Province of Bulacan where the First Philippine Republic was proclaimed, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. convened with thousands of Bulakenyos to relive the learnings of the past and usher in a more progressive and peaceful ‘Bagong Pilipinas’.

During the ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas’ campaign rally held at the Bulacan Sports Complex in Malolos City, the President cited several accomplishments and government measures implemented to reciprocate the relentless efforts and support not only of the Bulakenyos but also of all Filipinos for the country.

He cited that regular job fairs, like the Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas, are being organized to create more opportunities for the Filipino workforce. This initiative has proven successful, as he proudly reported that 2024 marked the country’s lowest unemployment rate in the last two decades.

In terms of economic growth, Central Luzon ranks third as the fastest growing economy in the country on a regional level, of which the President shared that Bulacan’s economy grew by 5.6 percent.

The Chief Executive emphasized that programs and policies are in place to empower the agriculture sector. These include the construction of more farm-to-market roads (FMRs), provision of post-harvest facilities, implementation of the High Value Crops Development Program, and a lower price of rice which can be bought in select Kadiwa ng Pangulo sites by the beneficiaries of 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program), senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and solo parents.

The BUCAS (Bagong Urgent Care and Ambulatory Services) Centers have also been opened to make health facilities more accessible to the people.

In terms of infrastructure, the government is constructing the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) which includes a line connecting Malolos to Tutuban in Manila. This comes along with the construction of the San Ildefonso-San Miguel Bypass Road which forms part of the widening of the Plaridel Bypass Road.

“Kaya naman po kung tayo po ay ninanais po natin na ipagpatuloy ang magagandang programa na ating sinimulan, kailangan po natin na makahalal ng mga senador na nakakaunawa sa pangangailangan ng taong-bayan, na nakakaunawa kung papaano ayusin at pagandahin ang buhay ng bawat Pilipino,” President Marcos Jr. stated, urging his countrymen to vote for individuals who share the same vision with the Administration to ensure the continuation of government programs after the midterm elections.

He presented the senatorial lineup of ‘Alyansa sa Bagong Pilipinas’ who come from five (5) leading political Parties and are working together to effect transformation that will bring forth progress and uplift the lives of every Filipino.
