President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. conducted an aerial inspection of areas affected by Tropical Storm ‘Paeng’ in the Province of Antique.

The Chief Executive, together with other national and local government officials, inspected the Paliwan Bridge that used to connect the Municipalities of Bugasong and Laua-an in Antique.

Being a crucial component in the Province’s infrastructure system, the Paliwan Bridge serves as a major thoroughfare in the transportation of goods and services from southern municipalities to northern municipalities and vice versa. The bridge collapsed due to massive flooding brought by the recent storm.
