Before heading back to Manila, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the Italian Pavilion at the World Expo Osaka 2025 in Japan.

With the theme ‘Art regenerates Life,’ the Italian Pavilion is a “modern interpretation of the Ideal City of the Renaissance with its theatre, square and garden as elements of Italy’s urban and social identity and of the exhibition.”

The President received a guided walk-through of the creative journey showcasing the colors of Renaissance paintings, the proportions of urban spaces and the feeling of sociability akin to “breathing the air of Italy.”

Italy is also hosting the Holy See Pavilion for the first time in the history of Universal Exhibitions.
