This week, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reaffirmed his commitment to education, healthcare and inclusive growth. He visited schools and a hospital to welcome the new academic year and to underscore the government’s goal of providing quality services accessible to all Filipinos.

Other key developments included the inaugural meeting of the Economy and Development Council and the approval of a landmark measure aimed at strengthening the country’s higher education system.

The President capped the week with a working visit to Japan to deepen bilateral cooperation and explore new opportunities for economic, technological and infrastructure partnerships aligned with the goals of ‘Bagong Pilipinas.’
