President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. accorded a welcome ceremony for Prime Minister Lawrence Wong of Singapore in Malacañan Palace.

Prime Minister Wong is embarking on a two-day official visit to the Philippines, marking his introductory trip to the country which reaffirms the strong and long-standing partnership between Singapore and the Philippines.

The arrival honors included the playing of the two countries’ national anthems and the Commander of the Palace Honor Guards saluting the visiting Singaporean leader. Thereafter, the delegations of both countries were introduced to the two leaders.

After the welcome ceremony, President Marcos Jr. invited Prime Minister Wong inside Malacañan Palace for the signing of the guest book after going up the main staircase.
