President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured beneficiaries of various government social services of the Administration’s full commitment through a whole-of-governance approach to addressing their most pressing needs as he led the ‘Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas’ in Cavite at the Dasmariñas Arena in Dasmariñas City.
Speaking before the graduating beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the President announced continued government assistance even after graduation from 4Ps, including financial aid and livelihood programs offered by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
The Chief Executive also mentioned that due to the high demand for affordable rice priced at PhP29 per kilo from the National Food Authority (NFA) during the event, he had ordered the Department of Agriculture (DA) to increase the maximum allocation of rice sold to each beneficiary from 5 kilos to 20 kilos. These identified beneficiaries belong to the vulnerable sector which includes 4Ps beneficiaries, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens and single parents.
Nandito po kami lagi,” President Marcos Jr. said in concluding his message.
