Reinforcing the Administration’s commitment to strengthening early childhood education across the country, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over a sectoral meeting on the 2nd Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM 2) Report at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

During the meeting, President Marcos Jr. approved a funding request that aims to provide low-income municipalities, particularly 4th and 5th class municipalities, with access to early childhood development initiatives. This move seeks to enhance the capabilities of Child Development Centers (CDCs) and ensure that children in underserved areas receive quality early education and care.
