As part of its annual tradition to celebrate the Yuletide season, Malacañang opens its gates to the public once again for this year’s ‘Tara Sa Palasyo’ at the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacañang beginning today, 16 December 2024.

Filipinos can enjoy a variety of holiday activities at the Palace grounds from 6 PM to 11 PM until December 23. These include colorful Christmas displays, joyful music, delicious Pinoy delicacies and free carnival rides.

Early this month, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. formally opened the holiday festivities in Malacañang by leading the Christmas tree lighting at the Kalayaan Grounds. For his Christmas wish, the President expressed hope that Filipinos would feel the spirit of the season despite the challenges the country has faced.

“And it is a joyful time for all the Filipinos. But as we celebrate, I would like to ask you to hold a thought for all those people who up to now are trying to recover from the effects of the six typhoons that we suffered in twenty-three days,” the President said.
