As the joyous Christmas season begins, the Office of the President (OP) warmly welcomes the public to its annual ‘Tara Sa Palasyo’ event from December 16 to 24, 2024. Families, friends and loved ones can participate in the cherished Misa de Gallo from 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM at the Mabini Grounds in Malacañang.

To fully capture the spirit of a Filipino Christmas, attendees can indulge in complimentary servings of puto bumbong, bibingka and hot beverages such as ‘tsokolate’ and coffee after every mass.

‘Tara Sa Palasyo’ also offers a festive atmosphere with free carnival-themed rides and an opportunity to admire the lovely Malacañang Christmas Tree adorned with lanterns crafted by talented junior high school students, all of which will be accessible from 6:00 PM onwards.

According to OP Deputy Social Secretary Dina Arroyo-Tantoco, this year’s Christmas theme emphasizes the Filipinos’ hope and resilience, reflecting on the challenges the nation has faced in the wake of past disasters.
