President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the tomb of his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr., and offered a solemn mass for the late President at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City.

Former First Lady Imelda Romualdez-Marcos joined the President in the mass, as well as longtime supporters who regularly pay their respects to ‘Apo Lakay.’

Maraming, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat,” he added.

In his message for All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, the Chief Executive urged Filipinos to reflect on the lives and sacrifices of those who came before them and emphasized the importance of family, faith and unity.

The President also encouraged his countrymen to spend time with loved ones, visit the graves of their dearly departed and offer prayers. He reminded everyone that these acts strengthen family bonds and reinforce the values of kindness, compassion and humility.

“Alam ninyo pagka mayroon tayong patay nakalagay diyan RIP, rest in peace.
