President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received His Excellency Saleh As‘ad Saleh Mohammad, outgoing Ambassador of Palestine to the Philippines, during a farewell call at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace.

During their meeting, the Ambassador expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the President for the cooperation and support given throughout his diplomatic posting, commending the Philippines as a country known for its warm and welcoming people, with whom he has had the pleasure of working closely.

For his part, President Marcos Jr. conveyed his appreciation to the Ambassador for his dedication to fostering ties between the Philippines and Palestine. He also stated that the Philippine Government remains committed to promoting peace in all countries globally.
