President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. addressed the local government officials of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in a gathering at the Diamond Hotel in the City of Manila.

In his remarks, the President reassured the Region of national government’s continuous support towards the further development and prosperity of the Bangsamoro people, noting that the first BARMM elections in May 2025 will solidify the democratic foundations of the Bangsamoro Government.

He urged all local government units (LGUs) under BARMM to uphold integrity, transparency and respect during this historic event to attain peace and order in the Region. He also underscored the importance of fostering an environment where healthy debate thrives, promotion of voters education and achieving fair elections.
