Fulfilling the vision to strengthen the nation’s defense capabilities, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over the Philippine Army (PA) Command Conference at the Heroes Hall in Malacañan Palace.

During the conference, PA Commanding General, Lieutenant General Roy Galido, engaged in a comprehensive dialogue with the Commander-in-Chief where he provided vital updates on the PA’s efforts to support the Comprehensive Archipelagic Defense Concept.

Furthermore, he shared insights on the latest advancements in the PA’s Capability Development Program, outlining a clear roadmap for enhancing the Army’s operational effectiveness and readiness.

The attendees in the meeting included Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Secretary Antonio Lagdameo Jr., Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil, and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner Jr.
