President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. talked with the executives of Google as he continued his series of meetings in Washington, D.C., United States of America.
The meeting focused on the President’s vision of digital transformation being undertaken in the country, as well as the contributions of Google towards digitization that benefit the lives of the Filipino people. Google executives also tackled the company’s infrastructure investments in the Philippines to help improve internet connectivity not just within the country but with the rest of the world.
Karan Bhatia (Global Vice President, Government Affairs and Public Policy), Marcus Jadotte (Vice President, Government and Public Policy, Google Cloud), Brian Quigley (Vice President, Global Network Solutions) and Behnaz Kibria (Senior Counsel, Government Affairs and Public Policy, Google Cloud) comprised the attendees from Google.
On the other hand, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez and Special Envoy of Trade to the United States Ambassador Jose Eduardo Antonio joined the Chief Executive in the meeting.
