Over 300 college students participate in a forum discussion on the second and final day of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) CommUnity Caravan at the Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City on March 19, 2024.
The forum covers a range of topics and includes question-and-answer (Q&A) sessions designed to educate, inspire and promote media literacy. It also serves to highlight the PCO’s role as the primary communications arm of the government.
This event marks the Caravan’s first stop in Mindanao since its successful launch in December 2023. The next stop is scheduled at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Cagayan de Oro City from March 20 to 21, 2024.
The PCO CommUnity Caravan is part of the Administration’s efforts to combat disinformation, misinformation and fake news at the grassroots level. By bringing these Caravans to schools and universities nationwide, the PCO aims to inspire and engage the Filipino youth towards participating in nation-building initiatives in support of the Administration’s governance vision of ‘Bagong Pilipinas’.
