“Your unwavering commitment and even your mere presence daily are crucial to the sectors you serve and to the performance of your respective mandates,” President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. underscored as he urged public servants to continuously uphold true excellence and integrity in the performance of their duty for the benefit of the country.
The President reiterated these remarks during the oath-taking of newly appointed government officials and officers of various associations in Malacañan Palace, where he encouraged these individuals to continue being examples of patriotism and excellence throughout their careers and endeavors.
“This is indeed a pivotal moment with you and your loved ones because this is a big break that would change the course of your future,” he conveyed.
“This is also important for the nation and the offices and sectors you represent — for with your term comes the promise of new beginnings, systems or practices,” the Chief Executive added.
He also vowed to extend the Administration’s support and commitment to address pressing concerns that hinder development in the sectors that these officials will serve.
“Life in government will always be hard and challenging, but every service delivered brings purpose and fulfillment,” President Marcos Jr. said.
The ceremony gathered appointed officials from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), as well as officers from the Press Photographers of the Philippines (PPP), Malacañang Press Corps (MPC), Malacañang Cameramen Association (MCA) and the Presidential Photojournalists Association (PPA).
