Continuing his visit to typhoon-affected areas in Central Luzon (Region III), President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. saw firsthand the situation in Bulacan as he conducted an aerial inspection over the Province.

According to the monitoring dashboard of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) as of today, the southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoons ‘Egay’ and ‘Falcon’ had affected 1,149,314 persons all over the Region. Of this number, 564,375 were from the Province of Bulacan.

The same data also showed that the continuous rain in the Province affected 149 barangays, with the City of Malolos and the Municipality of Calumpit having the highest number of barangays that suffered heavy flooding.

After the aerial inspection, the President is set to lead the distribution of various government assistance to affected communities and preside a situation briefing with concerned lined agencies in Bulacan.
