President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Prime Minister Petr Fiala of Czech Republic held a bilateral meeting in Brussels, Belgium.

The two leaders discussed the proposal on the transfer of technology in the area of defense as part of the Marcos Administration’s continuing support to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Modernization Program.

The two nations have an existing defense agreement that covers various areas of cooperation such as procurement policy, peacekeeping and humanitarian operations, security and arms control, personnel management, military training and education.
