Perlita Swinbank is the President of the Filipino Community Council of the ACT (FCCACT), Inc., a unified organization of different Filipino associations in Australia and other affiliated groups in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). She has raised the profile of FCCACT and its standing in Canberra as a leading organization, and has consistently endeavoured to empower and recognize individual achievements of FCCACT member organizations. She involves the group in fundraising programs and in providing in-kind support in times of natural disasters or whenever a need for community aid arises. She has demonstrated her tireless generosity and support towards the achievement of a better quality of life for Filipinos within Canberra and beyond.
