Museum of Wellington City and Sea
Wellington, New Zealand
18 October 2012

The Museum of Wellington City and Sea is a three-storey edifice situated at the former waterfront Bond Store which was considered as one of the major ports for maritime and trade during the 1890s. Aside from the Te Papa Museum, this is the place to discover the heritage stories of Wellington. The museum showcases the replica of some intricate jewels, treasured maritime art, miniature and images of historic buildings and the illustrative accounts of the native Maoris. The free-entry Museum of Wellington City and Sea veers away from the traditional style of presenting a museum because it provides interactive technology to inform and educate its guests.
