President Rodrigo Roa Duterte awarded the Order of Sikatuna with the Rank of Datu (Grand Cross) on Mr. Takehiko Nakao, outgoing President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), at the Music Room in Malacañan Palace.

Mr. Nakao is recognized for mobilizing resources particularly for climate change, for his support on the resiliency of developing countries, and for his efforts taken to eradicate extreme poverty in line with the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022.
