President Rodrigo Roa Duterte boosted the moral of the soldiers stationed at Camp General Teodulfo Bautista in Jolo, Sulu as he delivered a speech in front of the government’s military forces.

In his message, the Commander-in-Chief thanked the soldiers of the 11th Infantry Division for their unwavering service in keeping the peace and security in the Sulu area.

“To our brave soldiers who are with us today, you are here because you have answered the call to serve your nation by ensuring peaceful and safe communities for all,” President Duterte said.

He also acknowledged the accomplishments of the military that resulted to the reduced influence of violence and terrorism brought by the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).

During the course of the program, President Duterte led the ceremonial distribution of food packs and Force Protective Equipment to selected enlisted personnel of the Joint Task Force Sulu.
