President Rodrigo Roa Duterte arrived in Bangkok, Thailand at 8:52 PM (Bangkok time) to join his fellow Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leaders for the 35th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits that will be held from November 2–4, 2019.

Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon, Chief of Presidential Protocol and Presidential Assistant on Foreign Affairs Robert E.A. Borje, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health Anutin Charnvirakul, and the host nation’s Deputy Chief of Protocol welcomed President Duterte upon his arrival at the Royal Thai Airport.
