President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presided the 40th Cabinet Meeting at the Aguinaldo State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

The meeting started with a prayer led by Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar.

The Chief Executive discussed the programs and policies of the government and its vision for the Filipino people, including the Proposed Fiscal Year 2020 Budget, Last Mile Schools Program, and the Action Plan to Intensify Lending to the Agriculture Sector.

The meeting also tackled the updates on the tax collection on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) and its foreign workers, including the issuance of visas to Chinese nationals employed in the POGO.
