President Rodrigo Roa Duterte convened with his fellow leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in an interface meeting with representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) at The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr. joined President Duterte in the meeting.

The ASEAN-AIPA Meeting during the Summit is a high-level dialogue ‘intended to enhance cooperation between AIPA and ASEAN, support interaction between the legislative and executive branches, exchange information, and discuss on the works of ASEAN at all level’.
