Following their bilateral meeting, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China witnessed the signing and exchange of several agreements that concerns various areas of partnership such as economic cooperation and drug rehabilitation.

Among the agreements signed during the ceremony include the Exchange of Letters on Production Capacity and Investment Capacity and the Handover Certificate of the Dangerous Drugs Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers Project between the Philippines and China.

National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Ernesto Pernia and Philippine Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Jose Santiago Sta. Romana represented the Government of the Philippines in the signing ceremony.
