President Rodrigo Roa Duterte warmly received Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray in a courtesy call at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

The President handed a bouquet of flowers to the Filipina beauty queen and congratulated her for bringing honor to the country.

Catriona Gray is the fourth Filipina, alongside Gloria Diaz, Margarita Moran, and Pia Wurtzbach, to win the pageant title.

She bested 93 other candidates from around the world to win the Miss Universe crown in Bangkok, Thailand on December 17, 2018.
