President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, together with his fellow leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Member Countries, convened for the ASEAN Summit Plenary hosted by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

During the three-day ASEAN Summit, the ASEAN Member Countries are expected to discuss matters concerning the South China Sea, trafficking in persons, illegal drugs, and disaster risk reduction and management.
