President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received People’s Republic of China State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi in a courtesy call at the Presidential Guest House in Panacan, Davao City.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi was accompanied in the courtesy call by H.E. Zhao Jianhua, China’s Ambassador to the Philippines, and Vice Minister Kong Xuanyou of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the other hand, President Duterte was joined by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr., Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar, and Philippine Ambassador to China Jose Santiago Sta. Romana.
