President Rodrigo Roa Duterte held a meeting that discussed the pension system of the military and uniformed personnel at the Music Room in Malacañan Palace.

The President was joined by Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Benjamin Diokno, Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra, Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Officer-in-Charge Undersecretary Eduardo Año, Bureau of Treasury Director Rosalia De Leon, and Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation Director Anita Linda Aquino.

The military and uniformed personnel were represented by Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief-of-Staff General Carlito Galvez, Jr., Philippine National Police (PNP) Director-General Oscar Albayalde, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant Admiral Elson Hermigino, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Director Leonard Bañago (DSC), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Jail Director Deogracias Carreon Tapayan (CESE), and Bureau of Corrections Director General Undersecretary Ronald Dela Rosa.
