President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, together with the members of his delegation, attended a dinner hosted by President Moon Jae-in at the State Guest House of Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House) in Seoul, South Korea.

In his remarks, President Duterte said that he is humbled by the warm reception accorded to him and his delegation during the visit. He stressed that the dinner is a celebration of friendship drawn even closer together, marked by their shared past and a bright prospect of the future.

The President added that the Philippines and South Korea are prepared to go beyond the bilateral cooperation and enhance ties in the regional and global setting.

In his toast, President Duterte offered “To the long standing friendship and more comprehensive partnership between the Philippines and the Republic of Korea. Mabuhay!”
