The only foreign musical actress to be recognized in South Korea, Cherish Maningat started her career as a teacher and events host. Before these, she entered South Korea in 2007 as a student and took up her masters at the Korean National University of Arts, receiving her Masters Degree in MFA in Directing in 2011.

She has been casted in several films in the Korean movie industry. Her fifth and latest film, ‘Stand By Me’, was released last month.
