Joint Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) – Philippine National Police (PNP) Command Conference

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the Joint Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) – Philippine National Police (PNP) Command Conference held at the PNP-Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 Headquarters in Cebu City.

Prior to the Command Conference, the President awarded the Order of Lapu-Lapu with the Rank of Kalasag to PO2 Aristeo Tampus of San Fernando Police Station, Cebu City who was wounded-in-action after a drug buy-bust operation in Cebu City on February 4, 2018. PO2 Tampus also received financial assistance, a .45 caliber pistol gun, and a mobile phone.

Subsequently, high-ranking officials from the AFP and the PNP met with the Commander-in-Chief about national security and updates in their respective offices.
